A Hair Place with History
In 1975, Tony Barranca opened up The Hair Lover's Place at 4407 Queen St in Niagara Falls. He'd tried other industries, but didn't find true enjoyment until he started in the world of hair. Originally working as a barber, Tony expanded into women's hair and continues operating the front of the shop to this day. He's seen the rise, fall, and the reimagining of barbering firsthand.
For years, Tony operated The Hair Lover's Place while Rob runs Back Alley Barber Shop™. How does that work? Tony rocks the front and Rob rocks the alley.
Over time, the Barrancas extended the Back Alley Barbershop™ with even more antique barber chairs to take up the entirety of 4407 Queen St. as the oldest family-run business on the block.
Tony Barranca is making sharp looks.

Back Alley with a Future
Where tradition meets trend describes us well. The Back Alley Barbershop™ is an old fashioned barber shop for the twenty first century. You'll find antique soda machines, traditional shaving stations, and friends new and old.
The walls house celebrity meets and a collection of comics. Reuzel product, in-house beard oil, and more scissors than you can imagine are ready and waiting. For years, the Back Alley has been one of Niagara's best kept secrets, but we couldn't hold it in any longer. After all, we've been crossing the world and leaving no hair unstyled.
"Hands down best barber shop in the city. Prices are very reasonable. The guys do a great job with my cuts and my kids too. Old school barber shop vibe and a cool feel to the place."
